Repair of gas-using equipment

WARNING!!! Only specialists with the appropriate qualification and permission to perform gas-hazardous work may install, move, replace or repair gas-using equipment! 

The PrJSC “Ternopilgaz” provides a full range of services for inspection and repair of gas-using equipment of domestic and imported production (gas boiler, instantaneous water heater, gas convector, stove, etc.).

The procedure for submitting an application for repair is the same for any type of gas-using equipment. 

WHERE AND TO WHOM TO APPEAL 

If the gas-using equipment has failed and you live in Ternopil or Ternopil Region, you should contact the Service Center of the PrJSC “Ternopilgaz” for maintenance of gas-using equipment by phone +38 (0352) 47-61-11, or by Contact Centre numbers:

If you live in the Ternopil Region, you have several options for applying for the repair of gas equipment in a way convenient for you, namely: 

  • independently draw up an application from your Personal account on the official website www.tgaz.te.ua, having previously registered; 
  • call the central emergency dispatch service (hereinafter CEDS) on the toll-free number 104 (works 24 hours a day and on weekends and holidays); 
  • сall the Contact Center of the enterprise (open Mon - Thu from 8:00 to 17:00, Fri from 8:00 to 16:00); 
  • apply directly to the relevant district administration for the operation of gas facilities with a application. The application must indicate the personal account number, your last name, first name, patronymic, address and type of appliance that needs to be repaired (gas boiler, instantaneous water heater, stove, etc.). 

You can also consult with a specialist for the repair of gas-using equipment in the Contact Center of the company. 

IF THE EQUIPMENT IS UNDER WARRANTY 

If your equipment is under warranty, in case of malfunctions you should call the phone number, indicated in the warranty card and order a call from a service technician. The service center is obliged to carry out repair work free of charge, except in cases of mechanical damage to the device due to the fault of the consumer or gross violations of the rules of operation. Do not forget to keep the operating instructions of the device, warranty card, check for the purchase of the device, as well as follow the terms of the warranty and the manufacturer’s instructions. 

WHEN AND HOW YOU WILL BE REPAIRED GAS USE EQUIPMENT 

The date and time of the master’s visit will be agreed with you by phone. 

If the gas-using equipment needs complex repairs, the master must draw up an act of disconnection of the appliance from the gas network and inform the consumer about the need to send the faulty appliance to a specialized workshop. 

Upon completion of the repair, the gas company employee will check the serviceability of the gas appliance, the presence of draft in the smoke and ventilation ducts, conduct additional training on the rules of safe use of household gas appliances and restore gas supply to the appliance. 

PAYMENT FOR THE WORKS PERFORMED 

Upon completion of the works, you need to sign a statement of the works performed, which indicates their cost and pay for the service on receipt. 

The cost of services is indicated in the act of the works performed, which is signed by the consumer and the contractor.
