Gas meters installation

If the gas meter owned by the household consumer is found unfit for further operation by the relevant body in the field of metrology and metrological activity, the decision on the expediency of its repair is made by the GDN Operator PrJSC “Ternopilgaz”, taking into account technical and economic factors. 

If a decision is made on the expediency of repair, the PrJSC “Ternopilgaz” is obliged to install a repaired gas meter of a household consumer at its own expense instead of a temporarily installed gas meter from the exchange fund within two months from the date of its removal. In case of a decision on inexpediency of repairing the gas meter, the PrJSC “Ternopilgaz” is obliged to:

• within fifteen working days after the results of the periodic verification (but not later than two months after the removal of the gas meter for periodic verification) to install its own gas meter for free (no more than the size of the household gas meter) for further commercial payments; 

• inform the consumer in writing about the results of periodic verification and the decision on the inexpediency of repairing the gas meter. 

In this case, the household consumer cannot refuse to install a gas meter of the PrJSC “Ternopilgaz”. 

Replacement of the meter owned by the household consumer, at the initiative of the consumer, is carried out by the PrJSC “Ternopilgaz” at the expense of the customer.
